The Ottawa Headache Centre is the region's highest-volume subspecialty clinic devoted to headache medicine serving Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
We are a physician-led academic, research-focused, specialized centre providing comprehensive care for the full spectrum of headache disorders, with an emphasis on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and longitudinal follow-up.

While we provide comprehensive consultations for the full spectrum of headache medicine, we offer dedicated clinical pathways for our most frequently accessed specialized services:
A dedicated injection program for patients with chronic migraine. We provide neurologist and specialist-led administration of onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox®).
Safe, evidence-based management pathways for patients navigating family planning, pregnancy, and the postpartum period.
Specialized protocols for one of the most severe pain syndromes.
Our pathway includes rapid-access acute therapy, bridge treatments, and advanced preventive strategies for episodic and chronic clusters.
For patients requiring urgent outpatient consultation after an emergency visit, this program was co-designed and is co-run by neurologists and emergency physicians.

We deliver specialized medical consultations and personalized treatment plans, ranging from foundational therapies to specialized headache care, including CGRP antagonists and monoclonal antibodies, nerve blocks, onabotulinumtoxin-A (Botox®), and evidence-based off-label treatments.

While you wait, start a headache diary. This will be valuable for your first appointment.
